Jignesh Jhaveri is a Mumbai-based advertising photographer and cinematographer specializing
in constructed imagery for brands.

 

Since 1998 his work has focused on solving complex visual problems in product, beauty, food,
liquids, jewellery and luxury objects.

 

Many of the images he creates cannot be captured by simply placing a product in front of a camera.
They must be designed, engineered and built.

Constructed Imagery

 

The most compelling commercial images are rarely discovered.

 

They are engineered.

 

Liquids are directed, splashes are timed to the millisecond, products are suspended, environments
are fabricated and moments are captured at thousands of frames per second.

 

Every element in the frame is intentional.​

Jignesh collaborates with agencies, directors and brands across India and internationally to create
advertising assets for campaigns, packaging, films and digital media.

 

His work spans still photography and motion, often combining both within the same production.​

 

Studio

 

Most projects are produced at The Refinery, his Mumbai studio built specifically for complex
tabletop cinematography and constructed product imagery.

 

The studio houses custom motion rigs, robotics, precision lighting systems and engineering
infrastructure required for high-control productions.​
